ABOUT
I graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Ph.D. in Integrative Biology in August 2020. During my Ph.D., I studied the responses of Wood Storks to human-induced landscape change in South Florida.

I received my M.S. in Environmental Science from Florida Gulf Coast University and my Bachelor's degree from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa.

My broad research interests include urban ecology, developing an understanding of the responses of avian species to human-induced rapid environmental change, and an understanding of how humans and wildlife can coexist in an increasingly human-influenced landscape.

I am currently a postdoc at the National Wildlife Research Center's Florida Field Station in Gainesville, Florida. My focus is on Black Vulture research and management in the southeastern United States.
